Hi, I’m Tessa!
A UX Designer focused on improving real experiences, one page at a time.
How did I get here?
My journey into UX started a few years ago when a friend introduced me to the field. Their enthusiasm for user experience design sparked my curiosity, and I began to explore it more deeply. I had been searching for a career that would combine my love for design with my passion for problem-solving and understanding human behavior. UX turned out to be the perfect blend, offering a way to create meaningful, user-centered solutions while continuously learning and growing.
To jump start a career transition, I enrolled in Designlab's UX Foundations & Academy program to provide me with hands-on experience and a strong foundation for user-centered design.
For me, UX Design has become a source of joy and excitement. I've struggled with finding a career that truly fits me and though I am thankful for the skills and experience I've obtained, the thought of working in an industry that continues to evolve with everyday life is such an exciting thought.

My Dog
If I had it my way, my dog would have an entire block dedicated to her. This is Winnie! She's my 7 year old Shih-Tzu mix and I love her to pieces. Her favorite thing to do is nap and monitor her kingdom (stare outside the window).

Running
Started out as a love/hate relationship but now it's mostly love. I'm usually a lone runner but love to sign up for races with my friends and local run club.

Formula 1
Proud Lewis Hamilton fan over here! Every Racing Sunday, a couple of my friends come over to my apartment for breakfast and racing. I'd like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to the show Drive to Survive for introducing me to F1.
